I can't believe it has been over 2 weeks since our Wedding Day, we had a fantastic time and felt extremely well catered for and looked after by you and the team. I just wanted to pop over a quick message to say a massive thank you to you and the ladies for all that you did.
The food was exceptional and we've had nothing but extremely positive feedback from the other guests too. Service was equally amazing and felt the ladies handled everything beautifully, especially with all our instructions being very last minute.

I’m sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you following our wedding, but not long back from honeymoon and only now just catching up with everything.
I’m writing on behalf of Vanessa and myself to say how extremely grateful we both are for the fabulous job you did for us, not only on the day, but in the lead up to the day, and with the clear up afterwards. Your help in getting everything ready, most notably the table plan, was really appreciated and much needed. The food was just what we had hoped for and more, the service was great, and the feedback from everyone was really, really positive. I’ve never known anybody rave about wedding food before, but so many of our guests have said how they were just bowled over by the style and tastiness of all the food that was served, so thank you again for doing such a great job.

We really had the best time & so much of that was down to you & your team. From the moment we booked with you right up until the wedding day, you have been amazing and so helpful!
The food on the day was absolutely incredible, and there is no exaggeration when I say every single guest complimented the food, despite the hot weather the pie and mash went down a treat!
All the staff at fat hog and big pan catering were incredibly friendly and so attentive, I’d like to say a special thanks to Joanne (I hope that’s right?) who not only waited on me all day, making sure I had everything I needed, had a laugh with all our guests but also for saving my mum from having a tag hanging off her jacket as she walked down the aisle!!! These are the kinds of people you remember, she was fab so please pass this message on to her 😊

We were impressed with your service from the moment I first emailed you, through meeting with Lindsey, food tasting at your unit, liaising in the preceding weeks, to the day itself. Just wanted to write to say thank you so much for yours and all of your staff's hard-work not just on the day but beforehand as well. You were a fantastic help throughout the whole process from being flexible enough to visit us at our home to making sure that we had enough ice to keeping drinks cold etc... The food and service that was provided on the day surpassed all expectations and was amazing. Your staff worked tirelessly throughout the entirety of the day to provide a first class service. Nothing was too much to ask for and we were so appreciative for this. The drinks service that you provided was spot on and no one was left empty handed! The wedding breakfast BBQ was delicious and we have had many people express to us just how much they enjoyed the food especially the variety that was on offer. The hog roast went down a treat in the evening as well. Everything about the catering was superb and we will happily recommending you to anyone that is on the lookout for a caterer.

We used Fat Hog and Big Pan for our wedding last week and I honestly could not have made a better choice of caterer. From the first message I sent Rob last year, up until the wedding day, he would deal with all enquiries and questions quickly and he was extremely helpful at all times, even down to helping organise the timings of the food throughout the day.
Now to the food, WOW. We had the French and Italian sharing boards and the Hampshire Roast meats option with potatoes and salads and it was honestly, just amazing. We also had guests with an array of dietary requirements and Rob organised different options for these, and they were all also so pleased with the food that they had. I can quote one guest who said 'I'm only ever going to go to another wedding if these people do the food'. I really cannot recommend Rob and his team enough, they were brilliant before and during the wedding day.

It is not often that someone provides a service that it is above and beyond original expectations, but I must say this was one of those occasions. We can't thank you enough for everything that you did for the wedding, we have had so many compliments from everyone who came to the wedding! Everyone said that the food was amazing, big portions for the xmas dinner and how good quality it was and the evening food I keep getting people sending me pictures at how good their rolls looked! My brother & his girlfriend were so pleased as well that the team had remembered that his gf was vegan and got her a falafel wrap for the evening which is just brilliant and the extra thought was really appreciated.
We were also really impressed at how you & the team dealt with the drinks in the day, it was even better than what I had expected having the mixers in the kilner jars and then passing people the gin and also putting it out later in the evening - I definitely got accidentally more drunk than I meant to, but I think Arran meant to get that drunk ha!
It was all so efficiently run and it didn't seem like you had a huge team but what they were achieving was so great, everyone particularly our parents were in awe of how you cooked so many dinners of different kinds and it all went so smoothly - the entire day was exactly how we had wanted it and we are so grateful that you managed the whole process so that it felt seamless to us!
We would recommend you without hesitation to anyone - I really hope it wasn't too stressful a day for you and that everyone behaved!

We have had so many great comments about you and your staff - people are raving about the food (both canapes and hog) and everyone appreciated just how hard you were all working to keep everyone happy.
From my point of view I thought it was all fantastic; your display of your own food and our desserts looked perfect with our country scheme and looks fab in the photos! I only got to eat a crab and and a lamb canape (greg scoffed the rest!) but they looked and tasted better than I could hope for and the hog (and crackling!) was excellent. The cheese got absolutely destroyed - people kept coming up to me to tell me how good it was!
I asked your staff to put a little of each of the desserts by and they did - the day after was also very good day! :-) I thought they did a great job serving food and drinks, they were so friendly and helpful throughout the day. A big thank you to yourself too - everything seemed to flow smoothly (at least from my perspective!) - I was very glad that you were there managing everything so well behind the scenes throughout the day! It really made a big difference to us to know we could relax and leave most of the organising on the day down to you.

Just about come back down to earth after such an amazing weekend, everything went so well. I can’t thank you enough for your contribution to the day, you were brilliant, all we hoped for and much more.
We’ve received lots of compliments about the food and the way everything was set out. The chilli in the evening went down particularly well and everyone loved being able to see you cook it. I think the Big Pan idea is a great hit well done!
Lots of people loved Chris’s patter and some were really surprised that he knew their names, forgetting that they were wearing name badges, it all went really well. I particularly love all the photos which Lindsey took before everyone arrived, I hadn’t seen the garden with everything finished so it’s lovely to have a record of all the bits and pieces we’d created in their various settings.
I’d just like to wish you all the best for the future, you deserve it you work so hard. Many, many thanks once again.

Both my new husband and I wanted to drop you an email to say a massive THANK YOU so much for everything you did for our wedding.
Right from the moment we contacted you guys, you were super helpful, friendly and certainly knew your stuff. You got excited about what we wanted to do, came up with some yummy suggestions when we weren’t sure what we wanted and went above an beyond our expectations.
You really put my mind at rest when it came down the planning of the day, helping out with the set up, lay out, waiting of the tables including wines and helping me with ideas that didn’t have anything to do with the catering element. Honestly Rob, you really did put my mind to rest.
The food was AMAZING, really went above and beyond our expectations again, we had soooo many compliments on how lovely the food was. It’s the best hog roast, mozzarella (especially) and all round food I’ve had in a long time. So thank you very much. We had a couple of experienced high level chefs as guests and they complimented how impressed they were with the food was too. All round big thumbs up.
So I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all you help, for delivering such amazing food and clearing up without me even noticing – it wouldn’t have been the same without you and your amazing team. Honestly can’t thank you enough!

Everyone at the party raved about the food, "superb", "really excellent", "good food", "delicious and so well presented", Barbara and I could not agree more. It really was melt in the mouth pork, with such an array of sauces all delicious that complimented the pork. There is nothing like guests going up for seconds and even thirds to know you are onto a winner!!! The salads were scrumptious, with hugh fresh olives to crunchy croutons, all so fresh and presented so beautifully you just wanted to dig in. You really did take the stress out of the catering, being easy to deal with from start to finish, dealing direct with the venue for set up and reliable. Thank you.
